Peter Coleridge
Peter is Vice President, Education and Population Health with BC Mental Health & Addiction Services, Provincial Health Services Authority in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He has over 20 years of experience at the provincial, national and international levels in population health promotion, health literacy, system planning, public policy, educational resource material development and training, knowledge exchange, and social marketing and strategic communications. He has a Masters of Health Science (Health Promotion), a Bachelor of Science (Psychology), and formal training in public relations. Peter has also held senior management positions with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, the former Addiction Research Foundation, and the Health Promotion Branch and Substance Abuse Bureau, Ontario Ministry of Health.
Peter is an Adjunct Professor, School of Population and Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, University of British Columbia and the Faculty of Health Sciences, Simon Fraser University; an Associate of the Centre for Health Promotion, University of Toronto; a Special Advisor, Mental Health Promotion, Global Business and Economic Roundtable on Addiction and Mental Health; and, a founding member of the Canadian Executive Council on Addictions.
