Meilan Fang
Meilan is a trainee with the Centre as a part of the research team on Mental Health Reform. Currently at SFU, she is an MPH student in the Social Inequities and Health stream at the Faculty of Health Sciences with training in mental health, substance abuse and biological sciences. Her current research interests lie in the determination of social factors that correspond with health-related risks in vulnerable groups with emphasis on cross-cultural issues. At present, she is involved in projects on access to psychiatric care, immigrant mental health and substance abuse and stigma at Centre for Applied Research in Mental Health and Addictions and BC Mental Health and Addictions Services.
