‘Cultural Safety’ Colloquium
Join the Centre for the Study of Gender, Social Inequities and Mental Health (CGSM) for this important colloquium: Introducing “Cultural Safety” to Population and Public health. Viviane Josewski, trainee with CGSM in 2010 and a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Health Sciences, SFU will introduce ‘cultural safety’ to the discipline of health sciences and explore its methodological implications for population and public health research by using cultural safety as an entry point to draw attention to and prompt critical reflection on current research practices and goals.
